Dance Recital

The girls had their dance recital over the weekend. Sophie danced to the song "I Will" by the Beatles. Each dance in the recital represented a country hers was Great Britian. She was so cute!!

Dixie was so great and came to see the girls dance. They all had a great time, talking her ear off.

Eden danced to an African folk song. She enjoyed every second. August miraculously survived the dress rehearsal, as well as the actual recital.

Happy Birthday Dupree

Dupree Turned one on June 5th. And we had the biggest birthday bash ever. Probably because the girls planned and executed the party. I know...it is embarrassing that we have an indoor dog, but we are not embarrassed by it.
Then and now.

Don't Touch the Frakkin' Touch the Artifacts

The Yankees were in town, which meant the Godzilla Bros. were not far behind. We got to spend a little with them in Seattle seeing the sites. They are every bit as cool as they look.
The game was great. We got 5 balls during BP and one during the game. The M's won in extra's. The over all highlight was the the four fans ran onto the field during late innings. One of which was completely nude! After a short chase the boys got to watch him walked off the field wearing hand cuffs...only hand cuffs.
Apparently, the EMP (Experience Music Project) knew the Godzilla Bros. were in town. They had these signs all of the museum.
They tried their hand at Grunge in the EMP "Sound Lab".
I am not going to lie to you...it got loud.
The boys wore the girls right out...And yes Cole was one of the girls.

SPRING BREAK!

Libby and the coolest girls in the world at Pike's during Spring Break.
(Note - Spring was unable to attend).

Sophie & Eden didn't even notice the absence of Spring. They have embraced looking like vampires and manage to find the bright spot in the sky above.

August ran his 1st official race. I know from this picture it looks a short race. What with the Start so close to the Finish, but it was 1,000 meters...ok 1K, but 1000 meters sounds longer.

Aug spent the days prior to the race training by watching Steve Prefontaine clips on Youtube. The similarities in their running styles are evident by looking in their eyes. August & I begged Libby the night before the race to make him a Prefontaine costume to run in. She declined. From the gun, August ran his guts out. He was the rabbit and made all others chase with all they had. In the end he took 4th, but he made those that beat him bleed to do it.
(Note - In what is considered Pre's greatest race, Munich '72, he took 4th...look it up.)
